During the summer of 2014, I spend a few months in St. Marys, Georgia, a small coastal town on the Florida/Georgia border. These months were primarily spent working towards publishing an issue of the St. Marys Magazine. I contributed articles, photos, formatting/layout and advertisements. 

Apart from the magazine, living in St. Marys provided me with lots of unique opportunities. I took part in a charity dinner theatre performance, helped out during shoots for a local movie and volunteered for the St. Marys Express, a themed tourist train ride, acting as the Lady Liberty. I also became skilled in cockroach combat.
